Our insider tips...

We will show you the most beautiful mountain bike and cycling tours in the Tuxertal! Sporty excursions to demanding summit experiences – you will be accompanied by our professional bike guides!

To Grieralm (1,787m)
Brief stretch to Lanersbach (1,300m) to warm up our muscles; then 1 – 1.5 hours along a gravel road uphill through well-scenting forests to Grieralm. After a short break in the hut we return to the valley at a relaxing pace.

To Stoankasern (1,984m)
Along the Tux provincial road we cycle to Juns. We continue past Oberjuns and cycle past pastures and forests until after a challenging climb we get to our destination (Stoankasern) after 1.5 to 2 hours. After a refreshing break we hop onto our bikes again.

To Tuxerjochhaus (2,313m)
Along the Tux provincial road (approx. 6km) to Hintertux (1,500m) to warm up our muscles. An easy climb up Bichlalm (1,659m) follows. Then we cycle past Sommerbergalm (2,100m) to Tuxerjochhaus. After a relaxing break with a fantastic view we return.

To Vallruckalm (2,132m)
From Auenhotel we ride into the village centre of Vorderlanersbach and follow an asphalt road several bends uphill through fields and meadows. We ride past old farm houses and get to Hobalm. We continue along the gravel road towards Vallruckalm. After a brief break we return to the hotel.

To Penkenjoch (2,095m)
On the Tux provincial road we ride 15 minutes downhill to Finkenberg. Then a first climb leads us along quiet side roads to Astegg. Some endurance and stamina is required for the climb to Penkenjoch along gravel roads. We enjoy a nice view on your ride to Wanglalm (2,128m). A speedy and challenging downhill ride brings us back down into the valley.
