In the middle of the Tux mountains, the Stock-Rieder family runs the Auenhotel together with a team that has been part of the house for many years. You can feel the decades of experience at reception, in the rooms with their light wood, in the spa area with indoor pool and saunas, and in the restaurant serving local and international cuisine at a high level.
A crackling fireplace, cosy rooms and warm hospitality instead of cold, modern anonymity. That is our motto, summer and winter alike.

In our hotel rooms with light wooden furniture and friendly design you will feel right at home, from the double rooms and family rooms to the suites. After a day on the slopes or in the mountains, you can head straight for the indoor pool, sauna area and gym.
The Tux Alps start right outside the front door. We put together arrangements including ski pass, take you on guided hikes with mountain-hut breakfast and mountain bike tours, and in summer up to the Hintertux Glacier for skiing. And for the little ones there is the Playarena, a 1,000 m² play park with free entry and free childcare for Auenhotel kids aged 2 to 16.

Location & Getting There
In the heart of the Tux valley, easy to find.
By car via the A12 Inntal motorway, exit Zillertal, then on the B169 to Mayrhofen and on towards Tux to Lanersbach. The hotel is located right on the main road.
By train to Mayrhofen and on by bus into the Tux valley. The stop of the free Tux hiking bus is around 50 metres from the house, and the Rastkogelbahn valley station is within walking distance.
